Please join Henry Stern, California State Senator and environmental lawyer, for a conversation about making statewide environmental policy. The Chair of the Joint Committee on Climate Change Policies, Sen. Stern will lead an interactive conversation with Gideon Kracov, Mediator at ADR Services, Inc. and Boardmember California Air Resources Board and South Coast Air Quality Management District, about the outlook for California environmental policymaking in 2025. Sen. Stern will discuss his previous legislative work on climate change risk disclosure, renewable energy, and building decarbonization and explain the critical role of law students and clinic research. Sen. Stern, a former environmental policy staffer to Sen. Fran Pavley (ret.), will also provide insights on careers in the Legislature and how to work in Sacramento.
